Cherry Oreo Parfait
Serves 1
Prep Time: 2 min
Calories: 245
Ingredients:
Fat- Free, Sugar -Free Cherry Yogurt
3 Oreos
1 Dollop of Whip Cream
1. Crush the Oreos into bite size pieces
2. Layer yogurt then Oreos in a tall cup or just throw it all together in a bowl.
3. Finish with a dollop of whip cream and enjoy!
I thought this was scrumptious! Probably because
a) I could eat yogurt at every meal. Love that stuff!
b) Chocolate and Cherry and Creamy combination? How could you loose?
c) The yogurt softens the oreos just a bit, but still gives them some crunch--just like dipping them in milk. (As a side note I still had a glass of milk with this.)
There is this recipe in the World Wide Ward Cookbook that I have been wanting to try. It is in the "Salad" section. It has snickers and apples in some type of pudding/whip cream mixture. I guess that is a salad.......
This was my easy one serving version of that.
